What to expect?
A Counselling session lasts for fifty minutes. Sessions take place once a week, this helps to build on the information shared week by week. You can use this space to share anything you want to. The idea being a space that often isn’t available in everyday life.
About me
My name is Georgina, I trained as an Integrative Counsellor BA (hons). After several years working with Adults and young people individually, I trained as a Couples Counsellor with Relate. I worked with Bereavement for some years and have expanded into a diverse mix of counselling. I am a registered member of the BACP, which means I adhere to a code of necessary ethics.
It's not the road taken but the road not taken that makes all the progress.
How do we start?
Clients usually start with a short chat on the phone, or by emailing an enquiry. We then arrange a meeting by whichever format you choose. In the first session I carry out an Initial Assessment, which is often a helpful tool to start understanding you. You decide what you want to share.
